Sonny Moore was born on January 15, 1988, in Los Angeles, California. He was raised by adoptive parents. When he found out at the age of 15 that he was adopted he became bulimic. At age 15 he met Matt Good on myspace and was offered a place in the band From First To Last as a guitarist. Once they heard his voice, he got the lead singer's position. Sonny was the lead vocalist for the band From First To Last from the years 2004-2007. Sonny has now been working on a solo career as an electronica artist.
